Dr. Seema Taral Gala

Educator, social worker and former municipal councillor. Currently Mahila Karya Pramukh for Gujarat Prant in Swadeshi Jagaran Manch.

About Myself

Seema Taral Gala was awarded a PhD in February 2019 for a thesis on the biography of Late Jain Acharya Gunsagar Suriji Maharaj Saheb, conducted in affiliation with Zoroastrian College under the All India Shah Behram Baug Society. She also holds an M.A. in Jainology and Comparative Religion from Jain Vishva Bharati Institute, Ladnun, and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Bombay.

Since 2003 she has run Gala Coaching Classes for CBSE students in Vapi. She served as a Municipal Councillor for Ward 3, Vapi, from November 2016 to October 2021, as a member of the Standing and Health Committees and as Chairman of the Law Committee.

She has spoken at the UN Commission on the Status of Women, trained as a rifle shooter and NCC cadet, and takes part in the work of Swadeshi Jagaran Manch and Swavalambi Bharat Abhiyan across the country.
